A Beautiful Mess

“A Beautiful Mess”

Oil on canvas — Bo Wilde

A face that refuses to behave.

A Beautiful Mess is an exploration of what happens when we stop trying to make every part of ourselves “perfect”

The distorted features, fractured lines and flashes of colour feel almost like different versions of the same person fighting for space on one canvas … confidence, chaos, softness, anger, humour, vulnerability.
she’s imperfect.

One eye watches you.

And somehow, that’s exactly what makes her beautiful.

An original oil painting by Bo Wilde, created for the person who doesn’t want art that quietly disappears into a room.

She was made to interrupt it.
