MONEY
MONEY 💰 Some people were drawn to my ambition until they realized it couldn’t be controlled…
I’ve spent years building a life through creativity, resilience, and relentless drive. Yet too often, the stronger I became, the more uncomfortable others seemed. What began as admiration sometimes turned into competition, resentment, or a desire to diminish what I had built.
I’ve been valued for what I could provide rather than who I am. I’ve been taken for granted, used, and made to feel as though my success was something that needed to be punished rather than celebrated.
This painting is a reflection of that contradiction. The collision of luxury, chaos, beauty, and destruction mirrors the tension between self-worth and the expectations others place upon us. It asks a simple question:
What happens when a woman refuses to become smaller so others can feel bigger?
My answer is this artwork.
I am not what was taken from me.
I am what I created despite it all .Â
