For the ones who were never difficult. Just difficult to contain.

Problem Child is a study in rebellion, instinct and the refusal to behave.

Built through oversized blocks of colour, repeated crowns, fragmented words, rough figures and impulsive marks, the work feels like a private language spilling out faster than it can be controlled.

There is tension everywhere. Order fighting chaos. Childhood colliding with adulthood. Beauty interrupted by something louder.

The word PROBLEM runs through the centre of the canvas, but the work asks a different question: who decided that being too much, too expressive, too restless or too impossible to categorise was ever a problem?

The rawness is intentional. Nothing is polished into submission.

Problem Child is about the parts of us that were told to tone it down, sit still, fit in and make ourselves easier for other people to understand.

This painting refuses.
